In There's Nothing Funny About Social Work, Western Sydney youth worker and stand-up comedian Ian "Esky" Escandor takes a title that sounds like a dare and interrogates it: an hour of comedy about the ethics of visibility and helping people, and if stand-up can provide the support that a support person needs. Directed by Suren Jaemann with dramaturgy by Bina Bhattacharya, at PYT Fairfield, 10–12 September, as part of Sydney Fringe 2026.

In These Shoes collides the two lives of Glynis Traill-Nash — fashion writer by day, jazz singer by night — into a witty, pacey hour of cabaret. The award-winning show returns to Sydney at Fringe on The Rocks, 2–6 September, after seasons in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane and the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe.
