ACO Up Close: Attacca Quartet

The Grammy Award-Winning Attacca Quartet plays at the cutting edge of classical music, echoing the ACO's relentless appetite for excellence and passion for new work.

Whether playing Radiohead or Ravel, the foursome performs with precision and power. The effect is intimate, electric, and unforgettable. It's made them a favourite with pop and electronic artists including Billie Eilish, TOKiMONSTA and Squarepusher. The ACO is thrilled to present the New York-based quartet on their first Australian tour. They have a rich artistic partnership with Caroline Shaw, and in this concert will perform her contemplative masterpiece Three Essays, and her popular The Evergreen.
