Nathaniel Crossinggum (he/him) is a transgender performer and writer with a flair for the strange and provocative.

Training

His training includes a Bachelor of Acting at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, as well as La Boite's 2023 + 2025 Assembly Program.

Selected Work

In 2024, he was part of Backbone Arts and Flaming Carnations flagship all-trans-ensemble Transcendent Acts, in which he served as writer and performer.

Nathaniel's writing has featured in Voicework's VICE issue and in 2025 his show Horse Play was staged at Backbone Youth Arts during his residency as a Hub Artist.

Current

He is currently completing the Faber Novel Writing Course with Allen & Unwin publishing, for which he was awarded a full scholarship.

He believes in taking our artistic values and expressing them not only through art but tangible solidarity and action.
