Meg Denman

Meet Meg Denman, Reviewer at Sydney Dramaturgical

Born and raised in a small coastal town just south of Coffs Harbour, Meg chased her dreams all the way to the Big Smoke at the ripe age of 18.

She graduated from the Academy of Film, Theatre & Television in 2023 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting).

On Stage

She is making her way across Sydney's indie theatres, performing as Lydia Bennett in 'Pride and Prejudice (*sort of)' (dir. Madeline Jones) at Belvoir's 25A.

She also played Scarlett Keenan in two sold out runs of 'Traffic Light Party' (dir. Brea Macey) at Sydney Fringe Festival and KXT on Broadway.

Writing & Screen

More recently, she wrote and starred in her debut short film 'TROPHY' (dir. Saskia Faniis).

She is the 2026 recipient of the Katie Lees Fellowship, making her playwriting debut this November at Flight Path Theatre with her show 'RARA' (dir. Saskia Faniis).

Voice & Purpose

Meg lives with RA, a chronic auto-immune disease.

She aims to shed light on the stories often left untold through humor, vulnerability and power.
