About Lola Kate Carlton

Lola Kate Carlton is a bona fide theatre baby. Starting in the industry at the tender age of four as a voice actor, they have dedicated themselves to the world of entertainment ever since.

For the last two years, they have jumped in the deep end of local theatre, stage managing, acting, directing, production designing, and doing just about anything the scene has asked of them.

Whether they are treading the boards, or scribbling notes from the sidelines, Lola hopes themselves to be a worshipper of the uncomfortable, the challenging, and the interesting.

Selected Work

As an actor, you may have seen them in Hamlet at the Greek Theatre, Hir at the New Theatre, or perhaps in a penguin costume for Magic & Sphen at Flight Path.

You may also have caught their directorial debut with their very own theatre company Kult Klassic, which staged Harold Pinter's The Homecoming in May.

Origins

Lola has been obsessed with the world of theatre since they discovered what the funny words on their mother's Hamlet poster were, and has done what they can to devour it, and be devoured by it, ever since.
