Originally a sandgroper of the west, Kate (aka Charlie, 2026 #rebrand) lives and works on Gadigal land as an arts rambler and income cobbler.

She loves techno (religiously, rapturously), her cat Mr Twix, podcasts like Heavyweight and This American Life, TV shows like Succession and Key & Peele, everything Elena Ferrante and Mariana Enriquez write, spicy crab nigiri, daring live performance, midnight summer walks, vivid (even violent) dreams, and Garth Marenghi's Darkplace.

She's not a real person yet, but she's working on it.

She writes theatre and gig reviews for the SMH.
