Social & Rehearsal Diary

Two monthly retainer services that run alongside rehearsal and into the run.

The Rehearsal Diary Retainer turns a weekly check-in conversation into a published process record — public diary entries on the production's show page or our editorial site. Most productions buy this together with the Social Feed; they reinforce each other.

The Social Feed Retainer produces Instagram assets on a rolling cadence in the production's voice.

Shared intake

  • An existing Positioning Memo
  • Manager-level access to the show's Instagram
  • A one-hour setup call to establish voice, sensitivities, and what's publishable vs. private

For the Rehearsal Diary specifically:

  • A recurring 30–45 minute weekly slot with the director or assistant director, scheduled in advance

Rehearsal Diary Retainer — $210 / month

A published rehearsal diary. Public diary entries that let the company's audience track the making of the work without exposing it prematurely.

This is the published artefact, not the practice of taking notes. Productions that already keep good rehearsal reports get more out of this service, not less — the published diary entry is downstream of whatever notes the production already takes.

Minimum commitment

Two months minimum. The first entry is always introductory; value compounds across the rehearsal period.

Process

Weekly cycle, repeated for the duration of rehearsal:

  1. Weekly check-in call — 30–45 min with director and/or company
  2. Notes are taken (private by default)
  3. Diary entry drafted — 200–500 words, edited from the notes
  4. Director approves before publishing
  5. Entry goes live on the show page or our editorial site
  6. Social posts derived from the entry are queued for the Social Feed

Deliverables

Schema, weekly:

  • weekly-check-in-call
  • check-in-notes — raw, private by default
  • published-diary-entry — 200–500 words, director-approved
  • social-post-set — two to three Instagram posts per week derived from the entry
  • rehearsal-photo-prompts (optional) — suggested shots for the stage manager or assistant director
  • private-rehearsal-log (optional) — full unredacted notes, kept private until after the show, delivered as an archive document

Social Feed Retainer — $270 / month

Instagram assets produced on a rolling cadence in the production's voice.

Minimum commitment

One month minimum. Can be paused between rehearsal and the run if the production prefers a quieter middle period. Can be extended one to two months after closing for closing-week, archive launch, festival, or remount campaigning.

Deliverables

Schema, by content type, produced on a rolling cadence:

  • casting-call-tile (once) — square + story
  • cast-announcement-carousel (once) — one slide per company member
  • creative-team-tile (once)
  • weekly-rehearsal-post — feeds from the Rehearsal Diary if bought together
  • design-process-post (optional) — set, costume, sound, lighting
  • opening-week-push — five-post sequence in the week of first preview
  • pull-quote-card — one per published review
  • preview-invitation-tile
  • mid-run-post (optional)
  • closing-night-call (optional)
  • thank-you-post (optional) — cast, crew, audience
  • archive-link-post (optional) — drives traffic to the Show Archive

Out of scope

  • Paid social advertising — paid Meta and Google campaigns are scoped separately under Web & Listings → Paid Advertising
  • Community engagement — comment replies and DMs are managed by the production directly, not by us
